so much has happened in the past couple of weeks, i dont think i could even begin to bring this up to date. this weekend was SO packed. on saturday i cooked a very special dinner for some new friends. my friend Sam wanted to spoil the girls on his upcoming outreach team. so he laid out a plan with the other guys on the team to make dinner for them and a bunch of other amazing things. he asked me for a little help early on, so we sat down and made up a menu and talked thru some ideas he had. in the end it was one amazing night, and Sam and his guys were ROCKSTARS! we ended up serving cheesy garlic bread, caesar salad, fettuccine alfredo, red meat sauce and eggplant parmesan with it's own red sauce on bowtie pasta. and for dessert we had custard and fresh berry parfaits. it was a long day of cooking. started at 12:30 and got in bed around midnite. so tired! it was lovely though. i love cooking, so it was so fun and such a blessing. i made all of the food from scratch. yay for cooking.

VALENTINES DAY cookies. my lovely friend cindy (lindy's mom) made us yummy cookies with out names on them. this is us enjoying them. thanks cindy!

also on sunday it was lindy's birthday. lindy is one of my girls and also one of my housemates. after church, i met up with my other girls/housemates, and we picked up some lunch from the natural healthfood store and then headed to the beach for a little picnic. it was a beautiful day and it was so fun to enjoy a peaceful time of food, friends, fun and then pray over lindy for her next year.
that evening we threw her a party at the cafe on campus. 30 or 40 people came. it was fun. we made super healthy food, like lindy likes for everyone. it was a fun time and everyone loved celebrating our beautiful friend.

i started a 3 step cleansing fast today. a friend recommended this particular one to me, she did it a couple weeks ago. i got it at the vitamin store. i am eating vegetarian along with taking the herbal supplements. should be good. hoping it may solve some of the migraine issues. it is fun to figure out ways to make yummy food that is vegan/vegetarian. i like a good challenge in the kitchen.
well...i am gonna head back to focusing on the olympics...figure skating just began and i LOVE it!
